Port of Subs: How Divvy Made a Difference

Port of Subs is a quality sandwich chain that has been in business for over 40 years, beginning in Sparks, Nevada, in 1975. Since that time, they have established over 140 locations in seven Western states, drawn by the demand for quality and unique taste. Divvy by Alexander’s has recently provided Port of Subs with beautiful window clings to promote their business and services. Our high-end and top-notch printing complements the same care Port of Subs puts into creating fresh, made-to-order sandwiches.

Port of Subs’ Quality Window Clings

These window clings take front and center at this Port of Subs’ storefront. A variety of shapes and sizes showcases their designs. Divvy’s easy-to-use web-to-print API helps businesses like Port of Subs use the same image in different locations depending on window size or shape.

Window clings are easy to customize to specific marketing needs such as color, branding, and target audience. The Picnic Pack cling complements the look of the building and the colors of the logo. The flexibility of the design and the cling itself make this look great anywhere!

Another major benefit of window clings is that they are easy to move. Not only is it simple to remove and store, or to adjust for optimal traffic, but to place in more locations than just the front of the business. Window clings’ bold colors stand out against any environment, making them a flexible marketing tool for businesses like Port of Subs—or for your business!

Event Printing | The key to successful corporate events

There are many benefits to corporate wide events. They are an opportunity for franchise owners to share their ideas with corporate leaders; industry concerns are addressed, awards are given and everyone comes away with a new resolve to make their business even better.

To host a successful corporate wide event you need three major things: a vision, a location and event printing.

Event Printing for Iron Tribe Fitness

Iron Tribe Fitness is hosts an annual conference. Tribecon brings together corporate executives and Iron Tribe franchise owners from all over the world. Together they learn and discuss how their business can perform even better, and for many of the franchise owners it’s the one time a year they can socialize with their fellow franchisees.

event printing

Identification is a must

Name tags should be a part of any event printing strategy. Name tags are proven to increase socialization and rapport among groups, and since Tribecon comes but once a year, it’s necessary for guests to have name tags.

event printing

Name tags can serve an additional purpose as well. Iron Tribe used the space on the back of the name tags as a conference agenda.

Utilize the entire name tag by printing schedules, maps or any number of helpful references.

Branded lanyards

One of the greatest benefits of event printing is being able to put your brand on everything. The lanyards provided a great opportunity to make Divvy a part of the conference, and seven Iron Tribe logos were printed on each of the 300 lanyards.

Marketing to Individuals | How Coca-Cola Changed the Game

If you’re one of the billion people that consume Coca-Cola everyday, then you are probably familiar with their “Share a Coke”  marketing campaign.

marketing to individuals

Why It Worked

By individualizing the packaging, Coca-Cola made people take their product personally. This is the epitome of reaching the hearts and minds of your audience; an effective way of showing your audience that you know and care about them.

How could they deny the urge to buy a coke when it was made specifically for them, their name is right on it!

It is an exciting campaign for Coke drinkers, and the excitement is spreading. The same marketing tactic has been adopted by other major products, such as…

Reese’s

Reese’s has partnered up with Coca-Cola and added an additional step in the campaign. Coca-Cola encourages their audience to “Share a Coke” and then asks them to reward themselves and “Enjoy a Reese’s”.

marketing to individuals

Reese’s has released over 40 custom packages that you can send to your BFF, your FAVE person; or keep for yourself.

Dial-A-Snickers

Mars Incorporated, owners of the famous Snickers candy bar, took a page from Coke’s playbook when they introduced new packaging in conjunction with their already popular “You’re not you when you’re hungry” campaign.

Instead of names, they’ve individualized their packaging with certain moods like grumpy, cranky, sleepy, dramatic; implying that Snickers is the remedy to curing yourself or a loved one from a bad mood.

marketing to individuals

Along with the new packaging, Snickers released a clever ad for a fictional call center that will diagnose your mood and send you a Snickers via bike messenger. Watch the ad here.

How Can You Nail Marketing to Individuals?

Individualizing your product or service may not come easy, but it can be done. By using a digital printer, you can individualize EACH PIECE of marketing collateral you distribute. Change the name on the packaging to be addressed to a specific person or change the picture on the direct mail piece to target a specific demographic. Online marketing for Re-Bath, the world’s largest bathroom remodeling company

Re-Bath has manufactured and installed bathtub liners since 1979. Today the company has grown to an international, full-service bathroom remodeling company with more than 200 franchisees and a range of bathroom products that includes everything from shower heads to sink vanities.

Print and Online MarketingRe-Bath Online Marketing

Re-Bath specializes in quick, efficient and affordable bathroom remodels by skilled designers, craftsmen and installers who create custom home bathrooms every day. Re-Bath was seeking increased positive recognition online, but struggling to find a solution that would work well for both the corporate office and franchisees. Since Divvy was already managing Re-Bath’s collateral materials and print marketing, the Re-Bath team approached Divvy by Alexander’s for a solution.

Divvy designed a social media publishing program for Re-Bath’s 200+ franchisees that utilized multichannel marketing strategies to boost SEO and generate leads through online engagement. The Alexander’s marketing team creates content, manages publishing on a handful of social platforms for each franchise, and provides monthly reporting.

Program Results

The new program increased web traffic to Re-Bath’s website by 26%.

Divvy accomplished this by designing a social media publishing program that allows franchisees to opt-in to automatic social media updates, and offers unlimited access to its social publishing software.  They collaborated with corporate executives to establish a single source of corporate-approved content franchisees can access to improve their digital marketing.

“Alexanders is like a Swiss Army Knife. You open it up and more cool stuff keeps coming out. From managing production and shipping of our branded collateral, to keeping Facebook and Twitter up to date for our franchisees, Alexander’s is a tremendous asset.”

–Bill Taysom, Re-Bath Marketing Manager
